Extra-curricular activities benefit students of all ages because these activities promote better social, mental, and physical health. In addition, they are a great way to explore interests, make new friends, and build social skills outside of the classroom.
The goal is to provide a variety of extra-curricular sports for students to participate in throughout the school year. Students are encouraged to participateate regardless of prior experience. Sports we hope to offer each school year are cross country, basketball, volleyball and track and field. These activities are dependent on student interest and coaching availability by school staff and/or volunteers.
For basketball and volleyball, students have the opportunity to compete with teams from other schools in our District.
For track and field, students in grades 4 to 6 have the opportunity to compete in the District Track & Field Meet.
For cross country, students in grades 4 to 6 have the opportunity to compete in the District Cross Country Run held in various locations.
