Kindergarten Registration Information 2026/2027
Mission Public Schools is excited to welcome your child(ren) to the school district! Kindergarten pre-registration is available online during the below-outlined dates. It is based on a first-come, first-served basis. Each online registration is time stamped. After you complete and submit the online form, the school will contact you to set up an appointment to verify supporting documentation to finalize your child's registration.
French Immersion: January 12–16, 2026 English Kindergarten: January 19–23, 2026 Families registering after registration week can contact their catchment school to arrange a registration appointment. Spots are given on a first-come, first-served basis.

Applying for Cross Boundary?
The School District will consider cross boundary school applications for MPSD students to attend a school outside of their catchment area. The School District will use a fair and equitable approach when considering cross-boundary school applications, striving to keep families together when possible. Applications to attend a cross-boundary school will be considered based on enrolment capacity at the catchment school and cross boundary school. If approved, attending a cross-boundary school will be for one school year only.

Live Out of District?
The School District will consider an enrolment application of a student from another school district to attend a Mission Public School if the school or school district has the capacity to accept the student. Approval will be for one year only. Applications from another school district must be reviewed and reconsidered each year.
